Commercial Heat Pump Installation in South Yorkshire & the North Midlands
Efficient, low-carbon commercial heat pump systems designed around your building, energy needs and long-term goals.
MCS Certified Heat Pump Installation
MCS Certified. Properly designed. Professionally installed.
MCS Certified Heat Pump Installation
MCS is an important recognised quality standard within the UK’s renewable energy industry.
For commercial property owners considering renewable heating, an MCS-certified installation provides additional assurance around the standards applied to the design, installation, commissioning and handover of the heat pump system.
MCS is particularly important where a project may qualify for government-backed funding.
Eligible installations through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme must be completed through an appropriately MCS Certified installer, who handles the grant application process as part of the installation.
This means MCS isn’t simply another badge to look for.
For qualifying projects, it can form an important part of ensuring the installation meets recognised renewable heating standards and can access relevant government support.

Our Heat Pump Packages
The right heat pump system for your Yorkshire Business
No two homes are the same. That’s why Enhanced Energy Solutions looks at your property, heating needs, hot water use and budget before recommending the right heat pump system. Our aim is to make the process clear, practical and honest, so you know what will work for your home before anything is installed.
Commercial heating needs commercial thinking.
Commercial ASHP Installers
Smarter heating for commercial buildings
Enhanced Energy Solutions designs and installs commercial heat pump systems for businesses, organisations and commercial properties across South Yorkshire and the North Midlands.
From replacing ageing gas or oil heating systems to planning a wider building decarbonisation project, we can help you understand what is practical, what improvements may be required and how a heat pump could work within your property.
Commercial heat pump installation requires much more than simply choosing the right unit.
We look at the building, existing heating system, energy demand and how the property is actually used before recommending a solution.

Designed for the building. Not just the heat pump.
Commercial Air Source Heat Pump Installers
Commercial heat pumps designed around your building
No two commercial buildings have exactly the same heating requirements.
A busy office, school, warehouse, hotel or commercial unit can have completely different heating patterns, operating hours and hot water requirements.
That’s why our approach starts with the building.
Depending on the project, we’ll consider:

Commercial Air Source Heat Pump Installations
Air source heat pumps use energy available in the outside air to provide heating for a building. For commercial applications, systems can range from individual heat pumps serving smaller premises through to multiple units operating together to meet significantly larger heating demands.
Depending on the system and property, commercial heat pumps can provide heating for:

What types of commercial buildings can use heat pumps?
The right solution starts with understanding the building.

Replacing commercial gas or oil heating with an ASHP
Moving away from traditional commercial gas or oil heating can form an important part of an organisation’s long-term energy and decarbonisation strategy.
But replacing a commercial boiler with a heat pump isn’t necessarily a straightforward appliance swap.
The wider heating system needs to be assessed.
This can include:
How it works
Our Commercial Heat Pump Process
We start by discussing your building, existing heating system, current challenges and what you'd like the project to achieve.
We assess the property, existing plant, heating system, energy requirements and potential locations for the heat pump equipment.
We establish the heating requirements and develop an appropriate commercial heat pump solution.
You'll receive a clear proposal explaining our recommended solution and the associated work.
The installation is planned with consideration for how the building operates and the requirements of other contractors or stakeholders involved.
Once installation is complete, the system is commissioned and handed over with guidance on operation and controls.

Commercial Heat Pumps & Solar PV
Commercial heat pumps can also form part of a wider renewable energy strategy.
Heat pumps use electricity to provide heating, while commercial solar PV generates electricity directly from the property.
For businesses with substantial daytime electricity consumption, combining the technologies can provide an opportunity to make greater use of electricity generated on site.
The potential benefit will depend on:
Why Choose Enhanced Energy Solutions?
Commercial heat pump projects need more than an installer who can simply fit the equipment. They need proper assessment, system design and an understanding of how the heating system fits into the wider building. Our approach brings together commercial heating and renewable energy, allowing us to consider more than one technology where the project requires it.

Commercial Heat Pump FAQs
Yes. Eligible business and non-domestic properties in England and Wales can qualify for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. The standard grant currently provides £7,500 towards eligible air-to-water heat pump installations, subject to the scheme requirements.
Yes. Boiler Upgrade Scheme installations must be completed through an appropriately MCS Certified installer. The installer normally applies for the grant on behalf of the property owner.
Potentially. The building's heat demand, required heating temperatures, existing radiators, pipework, controls and electrical infrastructure should all be assessed before deciding how the existing boiler system should be replaced.
They can be. The age of a building doesn't automatically prevent heat pump installation, although improvements to insulation, controls, heat emitters or other parts of the heating system may be recommended.
In many cases they can, but the existing radiators need to be assessed against the flow temperatures and heat output required from the proposed heat pump system. Some properties may require larger or additional emitters.
Yes. Depending on the building, a hybrid heating system combining heat pumps and boilers may be considered.
Yes. Commercial solar PV can be designed alongside heat pump heating as part of a wider energy strategy, particularly for businesses with significant daytime electricity consumption.
Yes. Enhanced Energy Solutions covers commercial projects across South Yorkshire and the North Midlands, including Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Nottingham and Derby.
